Again, another work in progress I want to show. I want to color this one on the computer too. >>;;

Princess Ursa, wife of Prince (now Fire Lord) Ozai with her children, Prince Zuko and Princess Azula.
A family portrait back when life was simpler.
Zuko and Azula are in formal dress. (Hence why Azula is in a dress similiar to Ursa. Still am playing with the idea of giving her a outfit closer to the formal outfit she wore at her father's coronation. Anyone have a verdict?)

OMG! that is wicked awesome! And I love how the firelord isn't in it...kinda shows how he doesn't care about his family

well.. not for that reason. A lot of times the women of royal families, speifically the Mother, would have portraits painted of them with their children. It was a way to reach out to the populace and say "I am a mother, just like you. I love my children too and I want to share them with you."

Well, I think that the dress Azula is wearing shows how ladies in the court dress, hence why her mom is dressed the same. I think it makes the picture look even more like it's a royal, formal portrait. But either way, it's awesome, great job! =D

Nice. I love that dysfunctional family....Ozai is the king of power and mysterious faces (and is voiced by Luke Skywalker!), Ursa has that beautiful grace that I just love, Azula is the evil and twisted you-know-what who I hate and admire at the same time, and Zuko is just Zuko. :)

Of course, Iroh's in the family, but he's in a league of his own. :)
